This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Ivar, Sandy, Wren, Louise and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive.
An early morning trip to Lake Hodgson, we have had a cold front conditions but I thought I would wet my line. The lake was calm with a morning mist sitting over it.
The sun rose as I trolled across the lake and I liked this double reflection on the water.

That looks like a really good time!
Wonderful shots and looks like you had a good fishing morning.
My daughter caught 5 wide-mouth bass yesterday in our pond! They were all in the 2 - 5 lb. range and I swear I could have stuck my finger in the pond and caught one. They were begging to be caught!
Needless to say, last night's dinner was exceptionally wonderful!
Nice catch Tom. The fish and the reflections. :)
That is a fruitful day. You had gotten a fish and a post for MY world at the same time. Have a great week.
It looks like a great outing to me!

Aah, beautiful shots of a equally beautiful lake. I used to fish as a child and it was some of the things I enjoyed the most. Have great week!
Lovely reflections! Does look as though you had a great day and I'm glad!
I am a very good cook when it comes to fish:bake, grill, soup, omelette. I don't venture much with salad, but I can try. There is a technique.
Your pictures take me back in time when life was all about fishing, not your advance kind of fishing but by simple hook and line.
Very nostalgic shots!
Good morning from Down Under.
Great scenes. The reflections in the water are so pretty.Do you keep the fish to eat?Nothing better than fresh fish.Yummy!
Blessings,Ruth

Great day on the lake. And nice fish!! Can't beat a day like this.
It looks as if you had a great morning on the lake. Not only did you catch some fish, you caught some great pictures as well.
Wow that is a good catch. Lovely close up photo of the fish. :)
Looks like a fun time on the lake!
What a beautiful place to go fishing. Love the reflections shots. You could have flipped the first image and I probably wouldn't have known. Nice catch.
Beautiful and relaxing and and action catch too. The second one just drew me in and spotting the rod in the corner put the whole scene in context of being out on such a glorious scene.
The lake looks serene. And wowowee that's a great catch!
I love reflections. Looks like a wonderful morning. Life is good.
A post to go with your name Tom. That's a nice catch and that title image on your blog is a lovely composition as well
A successful day! Nicely caught with your camera too.
Beautiful photography, Tom.
Funny, I looked at the first two pics and thought'gone fishin' and the next two proved me right. Seems you had a successful day!
What a pretty lake. The morning mist on water is a definite bonus to getting up and out early!
And I think I said that in a whisper enough so as not to scare the fish.
Great photos. That is one gorgeous fish you have there.
You take such beautiful photos~!
Erg...fishing~! I don't have enough patience to wait for the fish.
Sreddy
That White Crappie looks a good catch! Looks like you've had a good time. I am playing My world today. Thanks for inviting me the other day. See, I did not forget it!
Beautiful views of the Lake Hodgson. Very attractive the cloudy atmosphere and the reflections!
And what a beautiful world it is! Nothing beats a morning on the water and a few fish makes it even better!
With the onset of summer my fishing has slowed down some as the fish settle into their summer patterns. It looks like your's is still holding up well!
Great pictures, Tom!
Love the white crappie. I just love catching them!
What a beautiful, calm and serene lake! Of course, I would be watching for birds!
Yay for the fish!! And pretty pics too : )
What a catch!!
That bass definitely looks large, I don't know about his mouth though. Couldn't see it.
What do you catch crappie with? My Father-in-law likes those.
Oh, and do you go fishing by yourself? Or do you have a buddy that tags along?
