Sky Watch Friday with the new format. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were a lot of people with beautiful Sky photos last week. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post.
A few more shots from Tennessee, The Gaylord Opryland in Nashville has some great indoor views.
You can really make out the clouds in the ceiling.

Lovely captures I hope you had a good time with your friends.
The cloud in the glass is great and the last view just where one wants to be to get away from it all.
Have a good weekend.
Very cool shots, Tom - Did I say in another post that I'd been to that hotel? We stayed there several years ago at Christmastime & man oh man, did they have it decorated! WoW! They go all out
Have a great weekend
I really like the sky image through the glass roof. Nice job.
Get out of here!! That last photo actually took my breath away for a second.........BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
The gardens are pretty, but that lake(river?) view is spectacular!
Looks like a lovely river to cruise on and enjoy the view.
Fishing guy..the photos are great but I am in awe of your "last" because I have a photo that I almost posted today which looks so similar to your view from the Tennessee Mnts.!!
Mine would be a view of the Niagara Escarpement in Niagara Falls Canada!
Beautiful hills & river view, reminded me of the origins of my Tennessee Mountain rifle. Happy vacationing.
great shots, we stayed next to the Gaylord but never went into the actual hotel. Hope you enjoyed your visit with George and Betsy.

The last is a perfect place, realy, to meander on a boat, and perhaps meditate too.
What interesting perspectives in those first views especially ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Wow, that's really a gorgeous part of the country.
Great photos...I love the mountain river scene. I posted a glass ceiling view today.
So nice to se the landscape from your part of the world, and the skies also of course :-)
Happy weekend to you from Anne in Norway.
What lovely shots, FG! Beautiful building! But I want to be on that river! Gorgeous place!
Have a great weekend,
Sylvia
That last picture is spectacular.I also like the cieling one, just a neat and creative shot.Thanks.
Blessings,Ruth
Wonderful! I like that shot through the ceiling and the last one heading to George and Betsy's.
Great captures Tom, I love the clouds through the atrium roof and the view from the mountains...it is stunning. Have a wonderful weekend.
Smiles
These are great pictures, Tom. I don't mind if you generate more business for the Opryland Hotel, but your river picture will make more people want to come to our mountains. We're willing to share, but we do like the solitude of these mountains.
Nice header!
Great ..skywatch photos..like the sky thru the green house..
Glad I stopped by! We frequent many of the same blogs!
Very beautiful photo's, Tom!!!
Love them all
Take care and Happy SWF
Great shots FG! My favorite one is of the river valley! I love how the trees and banks flow down to the water. Happy Friday!

Hi Tom, Glad you two enjoyed your visit to our gorgeous state. Come back anytime!!!!!
Love the photos--especially that last one.
Hugs to you both,
Betsy
These are beautiful and I love the birds from the previous post. Beautiful country.
Sky looking down on the water filtered by that glasstop roofing, did you microscopically check for any fish at all?
The art of photography, how it can enhance one's imagination even among the anglers' mind. Don't you think so?
Beautiful place to take a walk.
Beautiful!
Great shots.
First I would like to thank you for identifying the American Goldfinch that's been around my yard.
Secondly I would like to say your pictures are great!
I drove through Tennessee in May, it was so beautiful I wish I could have stayed a while.
Very interesting indoor views, Tom.
The landscape is wonderful too.
Very nice photos! That ceiling is certainly amazing.
P.s. Regarding your header photo: is that fox in your backyard? I really miss seeing them around our home. I am certain now that the one that adopted my flowerbed as her afternoon napping spot didn't survive the winter. Your photo make me smile!
such an amazing structure/ceiling and lovely landscape.
An impressive river valley!
Love the clouds through the ceiling photo.
Great photos!!
I do like that second shot Tom. Every time I come to your page I first have to have another look at the beautiful fox.
What a great set of photographs!

I think the clouds through the ceiling are really neat... that's quite the view... very pretty.
But yes... as with others here.. the one that took my breath away is the last one... it's beautiful!
Absolutely gorgeous! The final shot is my favorite. :)
Happy SWF!!!
nice captures of the sky through the glass. like the header of your old fox friend (the story was so touching)...poor fella.
have a wonderful weekend.
That's an interesting ceiling for viewing the sky and I love the way the last shot shows the curve of the water and the sky above.
Wow, the last two are stupefying shots - especially the meandering river. The atmosphere over there must be extremely placid~! :O)
Yes, George and Betsy DO live in a beautiful state. I saw you and your wife's photos on Betsy's blog. It appeared you were all getting along so well. ;-)
Outstanding photos, the last one being my favorite!
The third one is beautiful! I love the country in Tennessee too. It's always nice to travel there.
Wow this does look like Carol's! I too have a similar shot taken in Melbourne, Australia. Wish I could post but it's film. Guess I could scan it.
Very intersting shot
I love the fox on your header!
Wonderful view of where your friends live, wow!
I'll have to ask my husband (Brian Gaylord) if he's heard of that opryland ;)
Looks like a good trip. Love the new blog header. Blue Skies.
I grew up in Tennessee, so I must say I enjoyed the picture from there!
They certainly do live in beautiful country. I just saw Betsy's post on your get-together. Good times with good friends, a wonderful way to spend the day. These photos are fabulous.
I really like that diamond in the sky! These are great.
I really like the last one. The clouds through the ceiling are cool too. Like the new layout. Have a great weekend.
Beautiful shots, Tom.
You reminded me that I am long overdue for a Skywatch Friday. I will keep hunting for a suitable pic for it.
Wonderful photos.
My Skywatch Friday
Great idea to use the glass roof to frame up your photo of the sky. The tropical plants looks great!
Have a wonderful weekend.

Been there, done that at the Gaylord. Isn't it a lovely place to stay? It looks like you had a good time. Kewelopolis shots!

You did have a great trip-I can see from all the lovely photos you've shared.
What a beautiful scene of the water and hills. And after a brief pause to gaze upon the beauty of it all my mind goes a whir with water toy antics!
Wow! Yes, they do live in some pretty country.
I could sit and enjoy that view all day!
