Today's Flowers # 48

My friend Luiz from Brazil does the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 4 GMT is the post time.

The wife and I made a vacation trip to Nashville and stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. The gardens there are beautiful. Here are four Hibiscus that were among the flowers. The grey on this one is really something.
There are so many sights for the eyes.
Can you believe the colors on this one.
This one is quite different.
See other great flowers at the site above.

I have never seen colors like that in hibiscus before..Tenn. must have a delightful climate to be able to produce such wonders..I have always been amazed at Betsy's pix of her gardens and the color she gets on her flowers.
So glad you made the trip..and shot these wonderful photos..they could very well be framed works of art for your decor. Unbelievable color combos and great detail!

Fishing Guy, well, those are great photos of some very unusual hibiscus.

Jack and I stayed in 2002 at the Gaylord in Nashville. Now isn't that an amazing place with nine acres of vegetation under a glass roof and with a "Mississippi steamboat" you can climb aboard to cruise down a manmade river. I bet you took lots of photos and we will see more in days to come. Can't wait.

Final thought: Jack and I had a magic moment at the Gaylord. There was a family of violin players practicing for a music concert on their balcony overlooking the gardens under glass and they were playing of all things THE TENNESSEE WALTZ. What a great memory.

And yes, that is a greaaaaaaaaaat photo at the top of your blog.
