The first three photos are from Triangle Lake Bog.
#2 Is a thistle that has gone to seed. This plant has made a lot of seeds to blow in the wind. Dimple got this early in the guessing. She has an interesting photographic site.
#3 Is lichen on a small tree at the bog. Joan also got this one. She was guessing good for certain. This is some unusual lichen and I had hoped to fool you.
#4 Is a Grey Birch from the Kent Bog. They are a common tree in the bog. They form that strange mark in the bark everywhere a branch came out. Dimple also said a Birch Tree so the ladies were victorious.
There were a lot of great guesses and I will choose a winner from all those that had a correct guess by Friday.
