How do you light a street light on in the daylight, well you have to use the Sun. I thought this hole in the sky with the beam coming through was pretty neat.

Wonderful set for this week. The second snap is lovely with the sun breaking through the clouds.
Those are so neat - I love the one of the hole in the clouds!

I like the Halo one Tom.
So, Mr Tom - The Header Man - whats the theme next week??
Your skies are magic, FG! I like the second (rays from the sun) the best. I see you have a fall Header now - neat.
I really like the second photograph with the shaft of sunlight shinning throught the "Hole in the sky".

I like the 2nd shot best with the sun beam. Altough Bro's pic is nice too with the different kinds of cloud layers.
Do your street lights run off of solar power?
Wow! Look at that sky! Gorgeous shots!
all great shot, but the sekond was very dramatic and exciteing
Neat photos. The last frame of thick clouds was made very interesting with that dash effect.
I love the first shot, with the way the light shines through the lamp.

Lighting the lamp was a clever shot!

Three innovative sky shots ;-)
Just lovely!
Hugs and blessings,
Wow, three great photos. I love the last one.
Beautiful sky photos, Tom. We have had mostly cloudy skies here lately, but the bucks are really showing up as the rut goes into overdrive.
That last shot is really, really amazing.
The ever changing skies this time of year keeps you looking and never without a camera. I love the halo effect.
B.
There are too many configurations in the sky if we are that closely observant beyond their beauty.
And you simply said it, "halo of an angel".
My skyview is in Australia: Quadrat in Focus.
Maybe I should create a new blog just for the sky ..because it is my long time hobby anyway.
Great Skywatch pictures, Tom. I especially like the last one with the halo... NEAT!
Betsy
Beautiful clouds formation in the last pic.
It is a halo! LOL Nice photos. The sunbeam made me think "Beam me up Scottie!"
So many nice features here Tom, the lightpole leading into the sky, the hole with a massive torchlight shining down and to top it all theat gem of a last shot with one wonderful cloud accenting another. A great trio.
I love them all, but the street light lit by the sun especially...
Sandi

You have chosen a great point of view for the first picture, but the last one is my favourite. It's a wonderful formation of clouds.
Very clever street light shot! I hope that sunbeam ripped a bigger hole in your clouds eventually.
Ooo...I love these cloud photos~! I wish I could be on a cloud now - LOL!
Great sky pictures. I really like the beam coming through the lamp and the halo cloud.
Now, who do you suppose punctured the cloud canopy, letting all that light leak down?
Marvelous sky photos, the last one is amazing. I don't think I have seen anything like that before.
Great shots! They're all magical.
Great cloud shots and great golf weather in Ohio for November
Very cool skies, Fishing Guy! I especially like the 2nd one!
