There is just nothing like watching Momma duck and babies. Thanks so much!
Beautiful duck pictures and Bily Ray Cyrus! It doesn't get better than this!
Oh yeh, the little ones are so sweet and I've seen some up on the creeks here but by time I get out there, they have disappeared. They are being rather shy this year. I haven't been out as much as I would like to have snapping photos of the little ones, next year I hope to be out in full force!Terrific pictures.
Hey Tom, Love the photos of your mallards and their ducklings. TOO cute.Hope you are having a great weekend.Betsy
She is definitely in charge of those babies!
Great series of photos! There's just something so endearing about watching a mama duck with her ducklings. Thanks for sharing with us!

Sweet ducks! I thought of you this week-I was going down a little 2 lane road and there right in the middle of it were 2 mallard ducks. No water nearby-so who knows what they were doing-but it made me think of you.
Those babies are adorable. Blessings,Ruth
How cute the babies are Tom. They get big so quickly but I guess they need to in order to survive.
Great captures of the ducklings!
Beautiful colored waters and reflections! I always enjoy your very fine nature photos, Fishing Guy.
Very nice Tom. These remind me of last Friday when I was up on Middle Bass Island botanizing in a fairly secluded area. A hiding female mallard and her 8 or so babies burst out of the vegetation into a pond only about 5 feet in front of where I was walking. It scared the crap out of me.
Hi Tom,An excellent Camera Critters post. It is always great to see the young of any species. I also enjoyed the skywatch series and the deer in Wednesday's post.
