My godness Tom, you make it so easy then he goes and fluffs it again. I am going to have to take his TV away, Discovery is not teaching him anything. :)
At first blush, with all that fur, I thought you captured my aunt Lucinda. She 's quite hairy.
Otherwise, I would have guessed deer. Rabbit sounds good too. Except for the markings on the ear, I might even be convinced that it is some kind of mule.

Hi Tom,
I think the first one is a rabbit's ear, while the second is a closeup of a whitetail deer's eye.
Don't laugh if I'm wrong!
Hummm, torn between Deer and Rabbit. But I think I will go with Deer for both.
Craig Glenn
Craig, can't you see both belong to a rabbit??

I'm waiting for the solution! :-)
The first one-no clue-the second- a deer's eye.
I guessed rabbit the minute I saw the photographs. Perhaps we are all wrong.
Looks like a Rabbit Tom.
Will venture deer ear and eye. The white ring around the eye is a good clue for deer. Blue Skies.
Whatever it is, it has an ear and an eye.lol TOM.
The ear of a deer (fawn or doe) and the eye of a deer. :-)
Am I right ? :-)
I go with deer for both. The first one the rear end - leg and part of the tail? and the second a deer's eye.
Oh my ! I am looking at the comments - did I say his ear might be his bum? lol
I think the top photo is a bunny's ear but I have no idea who the eye belongs to.
I bet it's a bunny.
Bugs Bunny? :)
Sorry I missed this. I might have guessed the eye but not who it belonged to. The ear... I never would have got that. :-)
Interesting post. I don't think any other animal could take the place of the deer for the eye.
