#1 This is a Surrey with a fringe on top. I must give Shelly props for an early guess with the wagon bottom. She has a neat birding site in Michigan and has sent down her dove Bob for several photo shoots. LOL
The second and third are the turning control on a fire hydrant. I thought the colors were quite unusual. We do have pure red ones also. George said he never gets any then he comes through like a trooper. You can see some neat views from the Smoky Mountains.
#4 It is a Fiddle-head Fern. No question where the name comes from. Darla was the first one to guess a fern unfurling. What a place to see flowers from Florida. Gaelyn actually said the right name, the travelling gypsy is at the Grand Canyon with great views on her site. Rose sent me the answer by E-mail also, check out her neat B&W old barn.
This was another fun week.

Yeah for my husband... He's just so smart!!!! I had no idea about any of them ---so I let him do the guessing today... Good for him!!!!

I missed this week! Been too busy at work to get much blog visiting done. The only one I know I would have gotten was that last shot of the fern. Very nicely done, FG!
Oh dear!! ANOTHER week with wrong guesses for me. When do you think I am going to get even one right Tom? :) I think you are going to have to show me the full pictures first then put the cropped ones on, that way I might be in the running. LOL!! Just LOVE the music with it. It brings back memories of a wonderful time in years gone by.

that was cool. I thought George was crazy for his answer. Have never seen fire hydrants painted colors like that.....or at least I haven't paid attention. I'll be looking around here to see though!!
