I said they were all nature shots but some of you don't believe. I can be a story teller but I won't deliberately lead you wrong. This game is hard enough.
#1 Check out the feather from a Canada Goose. I was near a pond getting some shots of the geese and goslings when I found this feather along the pond. Warren from England was able to get this one. He has a neat bird site and has seen quite a few shed feathers on his track. Joan from South Africa also got it in an E-mail when she didn't use her silly answers. We have fun giving some funny answers to each other. She had a fish fin on her site this week that I missed.
#2 Lanny was the first guesser and and she hit this little fungi right on the nose. She has a neat site from a farm in the shadow of Mt. Rainer. She writes interesting stories of her life there. #3 This is the Mayapple, it is supposed to be an edible fruit but I have never tried it. They do have to ripen first in the Fall. Tom was able to identify it and since he is in the woods in his job with the ODNR he is really good with nature shots. Check out his nature site. You can see the fruit below the leaves.

Well, your mystery photo tours are always great.
And with great photos too!
Well that is not bad for a change. :) Thanks Tom. I look forward to next weeks.
I would never have got the feather. Amazing. It looked so like cord - now I can see how cord got manufactured!
Fishing guy: That was some fun game!
I am always finding and photographing
feathers left for me by one of my visitor birds! Enjoy your day!
Well, shoot, I missed this week's guessing game. My mayapples don't have spots...is that normal for yours?
That was fun. I'll have to try harder next time.
Good ones this week. Love the plant!!
Cool!!! Mayapple?? That's something new to me :D
I must say Tom, youve got this macro shooting off well, I would never have got that was a feather.
Well done my friend.
I would have NEVER guessed a feather. Unbelievable. And I've never heard of Mayapple --so I would never have gotten that one either. Oh Well!!!!
Betsy
