Sky Watch Friday - Year # 4 - Episode # 18

Sky Watch Friday this is the place. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were a lot of people with beautiful Sky photos last week. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post. You can link a 3:00 PM EDT. SWF is run by Klaus, Louise, Wren, Sandy, Sylvia and myself.

How do you light a street light on in the daylight, well you have to use the Sun. I thought this hole in the sky with the beam coming through was pretty neat.
My Brother-in-law "Bro" from Texas captured this neat cloud formation one day. Does that white cloud have a halo? Angels in the sky.
You can see a lot of great skies above.

I like the 2nd shot best with the sun beam. Altough Bro's pic is nice too with the different kinds of cloud layers.
Do your street lights run off of solar power?

Neat photos. The last frame of thick clouds was made very interesting with that dash effect.

Beautiful sky photos, Tom. We have had mostly cloudy skies here lately, but the bucks are really showing up as the rut goes into overdrive.

That last shot is really, really amazing.

The ever changing skies this time of year keeps you looking and never without a camera. I love the halo effect.

There are too many configurations in the sky if we are that closely observant beyond their beauty.

And you simply said it, "halo of an angel".

My skyview is in Australia: Quadrat in Focus.

Maybe I should create a new blog just for the sky ..because it is my long time hobby anyway.

So many nice features here Tom, the lightpole leading into the sky, the hole with a massive torchlight shining down and to top it all theat gem of a last shot with one wonderful cloud accenting another. A great trio.
