Today's Flowers # 64

My friend Luiz from Brazil does the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 2 GMT is the post time.

This is my Cornflower, a fancy bloom that comes back strong every year. I've also seen them called Bachelor Buttons. The bumblebees love them, they are gone for the year.
This is a bumblebee on my Pink Sedum. I don't know why it turned on its side.
You can see a lot of great flowers above.

Oh, it could be the sunlight that caused them to turn sideways...they are simply gorgeous.

Lovely!
It's nice looking back on pretty blooms. Out my window I only see bare trees for the most part or brown leaves now. :)

Love the insects on them Tom. I was taking some shots of bees today and they also seem to roll around in the pollen sometimes.

Really great photos! I've never seen a corn flower/bachelor's button before.

I have another name for your bachelor buttons (cornflower): mountain bluet. ;-) I'm fond of that perennial!!

It is a treat to ~BEE~ able to see a bee at work seeing that they have all disappeared here in my cold getting colder Novemeber garden.

Friendship is the most beautiful relationship on earth. Share this wonderful relationship with the most beautiful object on earth the flowers. Flower is the symbol of joy, love, happiness, and passion. Every flower has its own image and importance and its own emotion symbol.

Hello there, nice to be here..I will be glad to hear from you soon.

It's a nice time of year to post flower pictures, Tom. Most of ours are gone but the roses are gorgeous right now. I'll post some pictures sometime this week.

It took me years to find out what they are, and now I know. I always enjoy collecting them when I was young. Thanks for sharing again, Anna :)
