Today's Flowers # 44

My friend Luiz from Brazil does the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 4 GMT is the post time.

My Peonies are a large flower that can set a lot of blooms. I have this Pink Peony which a is very big plant.
The flowers are surely showy.
I liked the way this single bloom looked in the leaves.
My White Peony is much smaller but still is very showy. This was just before they bloomed.
This is the bloom of the White Peony.
The blooms don't last long so you have to capture them while you can. You can see some other great flowers at the site above.

Hi Tom, Gorgeous pictures of the Peonies. I noticed where you have yours staked. We have many of our lilies staked also because they are so tall and the blooms are top-heavy...

Glad you have such beautiful blooms and got some great photos.

You've got some beautiful peonies, Tom, and you did a great job of capturing their beautiful blossoms. The white one is nice but the pink one is absolutely fantastic.

It's very rare here to see a white peony.
I too wish they would stay a bit longer.
Beautiful pictures!

FG - I'm slowly getting back around some blogs now.

Very good blooms. I love the pink one amongst the green. I'll be back in the memes once I've turned around and settled back into a routine! My head is still on vacation. :(

Wow those are great flowers. The Peonies sure have a fleeting beauty. They struggled a bit in the all the rain but they had an awful lot of flowers.

I think I need to get a pink one...the light pink that is. The one here is beautiful.

I love peonies and my husband hated them. As soon as we had a good rain and they started to droop, he lopped them off.

Beautiful shots. That pink one is astounding. I have pink and white too. My white bears more than the pink---odd isn't it.

I do love peonies and yours are so pretty! That first one looks such a light pink. My pink ones are darker and very heavy...the heads really droop.

I do envy you your Peonies, impossible to grow in our heat and I love them so much.

Your peonies are like mine as far as color goes but they are finished for this year. We got so much rain that they kept falling over.

I have peonies-but not those colors-wish you lived close enough to share : )

I think that peonies smell like the inside of a florist cooler. I am slighly vexed that my peony plants do not seem to get as large as they ought but I do get blooms.

Yours are very nice indeed.
