What Is It - XXI Answers

Yes, it was Mister Bunny Rabbit at my feeder. He has an unusual ear so I thought it would be tricky. Most people guessed a deer or the rabbit. It had one fringed ear which I thought was tricky.

We had a lot of winners this week. Willard got the rabbit ear but missed the eye. Check out the neat Elk Calf this week. Graig came so close but opted out on the deer. Craig had a giant legged Stink Bug on his site. Joan topped him with the double rabbit guess. Joan didn't go for any of his B(etter) S(cience) this week. Joan always has neat photos on her sight such as the red eyed grasshopper.
Thanks for all the others who guessed rabbit.

Hi Fishing Guy; I only arrived here today (been away with hubby who's home from the Sudan) and missed the guessing game. I might have said it was a deer. I love the photo of your large mouthed bass. Did you take it while holding the rod in the other hand? Thanks for hosting the meme's as well. I love My World Tuesday and miss it when I'm not able to post. Regards. Jo.

Oh well, they are both tasty if you use the right sauce! Nice shots of the rabbit! Looks like he got thrown in the briar patch one too many times.

My mystery critter should be easy today, no cropping, just find and ID! Good luck!

Hi Tom... I had stopped by yesterday & my thought was a deer, but I didn't post a comment. I wonder what happened to the bunny's ear?! Poor thing

By the way Tom, do you know one of the easiest ways to tell the difference between a rabbit and a hare? A hare makes its nest on top of the ground whereas a rabbit burrows into the ground. Just a bit of useless info I thought I would share with you. :)

CRAP! My first instinct was a rabbit!!

Ah yes, I noticed the cropped ear, too. Sometimes pet owners will do that so that their guard bunnies look more intimidating to would-be invaders. It is also helpful if they get in a tussle with a magician.

Poor bunny. Too bad about its ear. I like those "guess it" posts even if I can rarely figure out what I'm looking at. :-)

I saw these after everyone else had guessed...I would have bet money on it being a deer! I would have lost big time!
