Winter's Toll

Click to enlarge for details, I think the camera did a great job. The winter has taken it's toll on this shed. It was a finished shed at one time and even had electricity and lights. I think someone was using it last year but when the front fell off it was destine for failure. It is sort of what the political system has done to this country. The middle class is left to support the majority of the tax burden. The rich have their tax shelters and the poor have nothing to contribute so the middle class is left to support the rest. Looking at it as a parody of our governmental system the roof will collapse when the load becomes too heavy for the middle to bear.

It's election day in NE Ohio.

Is this what we are headed for in this country?

Nice picture and words to think about. I can hardly wait for today's election returns to see where we're headed.

Great pic. I hope the election result is a step in the right direction! It was a great result for Australia recently in my opinion.. took a while but our future looks better! :O)

Oops..sorry about the shed but what you said is what we known as the sandwich class(middle class)....juggling our lives managing the taxes, take care of our children and the aged too ;(

Shionge: So do you think it's typically that way around the world?

Actually, the top 40% of earners pay 95% of all taxes. Here's the data.

I offered to pay the IRS $100 per month and they turned it down. They said that won't even cover the interest. I got behind when I lost my contract and the interest is something else!

It just keeps going up and up and up in the bill and I give up.

Our city has a lot of homeless people in it who sleep whereever they can find a spot.

I just don't understand America. We have no borders and the cost of living and driving is so expensive.
